Our Mission

If you’ve been feeding your dog or cat standard pet food, the kind you find in any big box store, then you know how unappetizing it is to your eye. Your pets may happily eat it – they don’t know any better – but you never would.

We started Wild Coast Raw because much of the food available on the market is sub-human. It is highly processed and contains many ingredients that don’t promote long-term health and well-being. We wanted to change that.

Superior ingredients

Look at the ingredients listed on our packages. You’ll see easily-identifiable whole foods such as pasture-raised beef, ranch-raised turkey and farm-raised duck. Plus plenty of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables – everything your pet needs to live its longest, healthiest life.

No cheap fillers

The typical dog food product contains questionable, generic ingredients like “meat meal” and “meat by-products.” You’ll also see plenty of “grain-based fillers,” which offer no nutritional value and can be hard to digest. Wild Coast Raw uses only the highest grade ingredients and no sketchy fillers.

Humane sourcing

We source our ingredients from suppliers that use sustainable, organic, humanely-raised, free-range, cage-free, GMO-free and antibiotic-free practices. Additionally, our suppliers also employ eco-friendly solutions in their facilities and product packaging.

Our Story

Hi, my name is Tyler Duncan, and I founded Wild Coast Raw because I believe our furry companions deserve to be fed the same quality of food as we humans eat. When I was a kid, I we fed our family dog a raw diet, a choice made by my mother, Dr. Suzan Seely, a well-respected veterinarian, whose now been in practice for over 45 years.

It was mom who inspired me to develop recipes using fresh, local ingredients. And our company consults with mom for all formula creation.

All of the Wild Coast Raw diets have been tested to meet AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) requirements, which lets you know the food contains essential ingredients and is “complete and balanced.”

How we roll

At Wild Coast Raw, we take a different approach to creating pet food. We consider ourselves to be a kitchen, not a plant. In fact, every employee on our team has first-hand kitchen experience. And we believe in crafting meals as opposed to manufacturing them.

You’ll find our products at numerous retail stores throughout Washington and Oregon, with plans to soon expand to California. At this time, we’ve made the decision to serve only the west coast, which allows us to locally source our ingredients and get products on shelves at their peak freshness.
